Since this year is slowly winding down, we thought it would be super helpful for future couples to have a roundup of the top 5 wedding venues in Arkansas from the perspective of a wedding photographer. These venues, in no particular order, are ones that we have personally shot at and can attest to. When thinking back on the five venues that we wanted to include in this post, we considered several different key aspects, such as professionalism and communication from the venue owners, aesthetic, space, and inclusivity. Now, there are seriously SO many beautiful wedding venues in Arkansas that we are sure deserve to make this list, but these 5 are ones that we personally photographed a wedding at and ones that we know first-hand worked diligently on making so many special days absolutely perfect during the historically chaotic year that was 2020. Barn at Sleepy Hollow
First up on the list is the beautiful Barn at Sleepy Hollow located in Clarksville, Arkansas. This one made the list due to its super spacious layout, which was especially calming for us as we photographed a wedding during COVID-19. The Barn at Sleepy Hollow has an outdoor ceremony spot, an indoor option in case of bad weather, and even outdoor patio seating. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue checks all the boxes! It’s rustic, spacious, and located on the cutest patch of land complete with a small pond and the most gorgeous golden hour lighting. Not convinced? Bella Terra Estate
Next up is the ever stunning Bella Terra Estate located just outside of Cabot, Arkansas. One of my favorite things about this venue is the owner. Jennifer Wallace has a background in design and put her expertise at the forefront when designing this venue. It’s absolutely stunning and requires very little extra work to make it stand out. Jennifer is also the definition of a boss and is absolutely incredible to work with. Every client that I’ve photographed at Bella Terra raves about Jennifer and her team. Not to mention, she has an all-inclusive package that takes so much stress away from the couple. I had the opportunity to photograph two separate weddings at Bella Terra this year and have to say that both of them were absolutely stunning in every sense of the word.
Garvan Woodland Gardens
Next up on our list is the breathtaking Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This venue caught our attention due to its stunning and unique architecture and the fact that it’s minutes from downtown Hot Springs, where you can shop small or book a spa day at the drop of a hat. Garvan Woodland Gardens is the perfect ceremony spot if you have out-of-state family traveling in due to its closeness to top notch, historic hotels and amenities. Not to mention, the chapel is absolutely swoon worthy! Don’t believe me? See for yourself!
Osage House
With aesthetic and space in mind, the Osage House in Northwest Arkansas is up next on our list. We had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful fall wedding here this year and needless to say, the beautifully designed reception space with all those windows made our photographer hearts swoon. Combine that with the stunning sunset we had that evening and we were in photography heaven. One of the cool things about the Osage House is that there are actually two separate ceremony options available. Our couple opted for an outdoor ceremony and a larger reception area. The Venue at Stonebrook Meadows
Last but certainly not least is the Venue at Stonebrook Meadows just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. This venue is where our 2020 wedding season opened up over the summer. Known for its stunning windows and natural light, the Venue at Stonebrook Meadows left us in awe. The sun sets right through the windows and creates the most beautiful evening warmth.
