There’s really no easy way to write this, because how do you say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of who you are?
After so many years of capturing love stories, wedding days, quiet vows, mountaintop elopements, happy tears, first looks, and all of the beautiful moments in between, I’ve decided it’s time to close the wedding and elopement photography chapter of my life.
And what a chapter it has been.
To every couple who trusted me with one of the most important days of your lives… thank you. Thank you for inviting me into your stories, your families, your adventures, and some of your most vulnerable and joyful moments. It was never lost on me what a privilege it was to stand beside you and preserve memories that will live far beyond the day they were created.
To everyone who followed along, shared my work, recommended my name, encouraged me, booked a session, traveled with me, or simply cheered me on from behind a screen… thank you. You helped turn something I loved into something I actually got to call my job, and I will carry that with me forever.
Photography gave me so much more than I ever dreamed it would.
It gave me friendships, adventures, confidence, stories, and a version of myself that I’m incredibly proud of.
But sometimes, even beautiful chapters are meant to end.
I’m not disappearing. I’m simply making room for the other creative pieces of myself that have been asking for more space — the writing, sewing, creating, and whatever else this next season brings.
As one final little celebration of this era, my Elopement Guide will be 50% off through the rest of September for anyone dreaming of planning an intimate adventure of their own.
Thank you for letting me tell your stories.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories.
And thank you for being part of mine.
Here’s to everything that happened behind the camera, and everything waiting for me on the other side of it.
