Glacier National Park Sunrise Photo Session | Casey and Cole

Experiencing Glacier National Park at sunrise is unlike anything I have ever seen. With over 700 miles of trails, it is easy to see why this iconic national park is the perfect backdrop for intimate weddings and elopements, including Casey and Cole’s, who just so happen to be natives from my home state of West Virginia. Their sunrise photo session on the morning of their wedding was the perfect start to such an amazing day. Continue scrolling to see more from this beautiful sunrise session.

Although Casey and Cole had their official wedding ceremony with their family and friends along the shores of Lake McDonald at Apgar Amphitheater, they still wanted photos of just the two of them in a quiet, intimate setting. I immediately knew of the perfect place where the trails, flowers, and mountains combine for the most breathtaking views.

One of my favorite parts about a sunrise session is how quiet and perfectly intimate it is. In my opinion, it sets the tone and mood for the entire day. Watching as the mountains come alive with the morning sun and feeling the world around you wake up is such an incredible thing to experience. The serenity of these moments brings so much peace and calmness to a day that might otherwise seem chaotic.

It goes without saying that Casey and Cole’s sunrise photo session was absolutely magical. The soft sunrise light illuminated the mountains in the most romantic way. And not only were we able to have this location all to ourselves, but these two were able to take in and savor these moments. Casey and Cole opted to do things their way in a place that inspired them. They chose to start their marriage with adventure and passion, and it set the tone for their entire experience in Glacier National Park.

I appreciate Kylie’s work so much! Our wedding photos turned out beautifully thanks to her and her husband! Kylie was very easy to coordinate with and always so helpful when I had any question at all. Her knowledge of the Glacier NP area and help with logistics were a real wedding day saver.
Thank you so much Kylie!
