Faith + Ron | Glacier National Park Elopement

One of my favorite elopements of 2020 was Faith and Ron’s Glacier National Park elopement. From the amazing temps to the constant beauty at every turn, Glacier National Park is a place that my husband and I have loved for a long time. When Faith and I first connected, I knew instantly that this elopement would be one for the books. Faith’s best friend posted in a Facebook group asking for elopement photographer referrals for a Glacier National Park elopement. Naturally, I commented on the post and held my breath to see if we be able to connect. I was beyond excited when I saw Faith’s inquiry hit my inbox! If you don’t know by now, the mountains and Montana feel like home to me and my husband. We typically visit Montana at least once a year and find ourselves craving the beautiful landscapes and atmosphere more and more after each visit. So naturally, we were elated to have the chance to travel back to photograph Faith and Ron’s elopement.

On their elopement day, Faith and Ron opted for a first look at their Airbnb and then we traveled into Glacier National Park for sunrise vows and photos. We had each location to ourselves at sunrise, which set the most romantic, intimate tone for the rest of their day. Despite cold temps near the water, Faith and Ron vowed to love each other for all their days to come and made things official along the shore of Lake McDonald. Take a look at their beautiful sunrise ceremony and portraits below.

After sunrise, we took a break and decided to regroup near sunset to do couple’s photos near Logan’s Pass. Anywhere you turn in Glacier is beautiful, but traveling along the Going to the Sun Road up to Logan’s Pass is a whole other level of beauty. The views are incredible and there are so many spots for photo opportunities. See for yourself…

It goes without saying that we had perfect weather in one of the most beautiful national parks for Faith and Ron’s elopement. One of my favorite things about elopements is how couples get to slow down and really enjoy their day. There aren’t any stressful timelines or seating charts, and you don’t have to make sure so-and-so makes it on time. When you elope, YOU get to choose the location and control the guest list, and YOU get to do things exactly how you want. For Faith and Ron, eloping in the mountains was their dream, and I am beyond grateful that they chose us to capture this beautiful moment in their lives.

So, what’re you waiting for? Let’s elope!

A word from the bride: “My Husband and I got married in GNP in MT. We had never been before, and Kylie captured our day perfectly. She sent me a timeline two days prior to inform me of how the day would play out. She also did her own research in the park several days prior to scope out more hidden gems for photos. She was an absolute delight and I can’t wait to work with her again for some anniversary photos back in our favorite place! We are so thrilled with every single one of our wedding photos!"
